I am writing to provide you an important update regarding our Covid-19 status in Fresno County and our plans to provide classes in person on the school site. We watch and evaluate very closely the State requirements and the status of Fresno County. Fresno County has now moved into the Red Tier 2 “Substantial” on California’s dashboard. You may follow this link to find any county’s status. https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy/ This means that Endeavor may begin to provide some on-site instruction for students. Obviously, we must maintain all of the required Covid-19 safety measures. I will explain that further in a moment. Also, please be aware that anything we are sharing with you is subject to change. We have all become accustomed to how quickly our circumstances can change these days. Endeavor has a Three Phased Operational Plan for the remainder of this school year. Endeavor Three Phase Operation Plan Phase 1 – (Sept. 28 – Nov. 6) The phase allows distancing learning only which, until just recently was required by the Covid -19 status of Fresno County. Phase 2 – (Nov. 9 – Dec. 11) With Fresno County having moved into Tier 2, this allows Endeavor to open school with social distancing and safety mitigation measures. Endeavor plans to open the following onsite classes: High School Leadership, High School Biology Lab, High School Chemistry Lab, High School Math Tutoring, TK-8th Kids GIft Workshop. Students will not be required to participate in these onsite classes. Accommodations will be made for those wishing to remain in Distance Learning. Phase 3 – We anticipate Phase 3 being initiated with the beginning of the second semester Phase 3 will operate on our “Original” hybrid class schedules for both high school and elementary. (These schedules may be subject to change.) In all phases, we will follow our existing building, Covid mitigation measures and social distancing. The necessity of providing social distancing means that we will have to keep our building capacity drastically reduced for the remainder of the year. There is no way we could implement our standard on-site schedule and maintain social distancing. We would be way too crowded. We realize that some of you may have questions particularly in regards to Phase 3, we will plan on holding Zoom meeting Town Hall in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned for that invitation. Endeavor COVID-19 Precautions We will be exercising the following precautions with all classes
Have a great weekend! Michael Cox |
