The Endeavor Charter School staff is excited to welcome all of our new and returning families to the 2022-2023 School Year!
As always, thank you for the trust you have all placed in Endeavor Charter School as we commence our 3rd official year as a charter school and our 28th year as an organization supporting families! Our admin team and staff have been busy planning for a great year and preparing ways to continue to encourage and support your educational experience with our school and program. Please remember that ParentSquare is our main mode of mass school communication and we hope you are able to receive messages as soon as we send them out so that you don’t miss any information and opportunities. New families should have received an invitation to join ParentSquare by email. If you register and download the app, you will be able to easily send messages to any staff. Please contact your Advising Teacher if you feel you are having any difficulties with ParentSquare so that we can take care of this right away. Offsite Classroom Update: As many of you know, Endeavor’s enrollment has increased slightly each year. We are now facing bigger challenges to accommodate all the onsite class opportunities as well as office space for staff. For this reason, the WSCS board and Administration is seeking both a short term and a long term solution for this challenge. As to our “short term” solution, we have been actively seeking an additional location that would provide more classroom space. Our staff offices will all remain at our current, main location. However, we need to add additional classroom space. We recently found a church that is less than ½ mile away from our main location. Being near to our main building is critical for easy and fast access for our students, parents and staff. The space available at this church is in a building separate from their main sanctuary and is used only for education purposes. We hope to be able to begin offering some classes at this new location for the Spring semester of this school year. We realize that the Fall schedule is more limited than in the past, but we are hopeful we can increase offerings and improve the schedule with the offsite classrooms. As we mentioned there is also a long term goal, as well, which will result in either a new, larger, permanent location or major improvements to our current location. This will require additional funding beyond our regular State revenue. Our purpose and commitment is that Endeavor Charter School will continue to offer families a choice and a voice in their children’s education. We are confident that our vision and mission is shared by our school community and we appreciate your understanding.
