Classes

Courses represent an area of study pertaining to a specific subject, grade level, and rigor. Classes differ from courses in that they represent sections of a course that are scheduled for a specific academic year, they are assigned to teachers, and they include a roster of students.

Language Arts Courses

Glacier's Composition classes have one defining objective--to improve students’ ability to write well. They have been designed with the high school homeschooled student in mind who would benefit from instruction that supplements an English curriculum and will cover many of the topics prescribed in the California Common Core Standards such as developing thesis statements; writing arguments, informative/explanatory, and narrative texts; learning and using the steps in the writing process; using technology in writing projects; and conducting short and longer range writing projects.

Math Courses
